Day 8
This is a mile milestone day because his immune system is at zero white blood count. It means that Mark's immune system is completely gone and we're waiting for the donor's to graft.
2 days ago he was a .1 WBC and in a few days we hope he will be .1 WBC with the new cells.
Following your posts with interest. Zero white blood cells is a scary thought, but it sounds like Mark's team has it all under control. Soon the neutrophils will appear and we will be celebrating with you! Praying every day for strength, comfort, and healing!! Patty Waller
